Rythm

Rythm is a personal life-rhythm tracker built as an installable PWA. It helps a single user define recurring activities and one-time milestones, group them into habit lists, and check them off for the current day, week, month, or lifetime period.

The Problem

Many habit and productivity apps are either too noisy with gamification or too broad with projects, deadlines, analytics, and social pressure, while everyday personal structure often needs a quieter loop.

The Insight

Product restraint was the key. The app works best when it stays list-led, mobile-first, and honest about progress instead of turning consistency into a loud engagement game.

The Solution

I built Rythm as a Next.js full-stack PWA with authentication, password reset, email verification, habit-list CRUD, task CRUD, current-period completion, optional completion notes, streak display, activity logs, service worker caching, manifest icons, and an offline fallback page. The product deliberately avoids analytics walls and social mechanics, keeping the experience focused on calm daily review and repeatable personal routines.
